What are META tags?

Search engines use these Meta tags to determine what your website is all about. Meta Tags are special HTML codes that are found in the heading section of an HTML document.


I can’t find my website on the search engines, why?

There are many reasons that your website may have disappeared off a search engines, and it is all dependent on the search engine spiders. Your website may not actually have been available at the time that you were searching… Or your website may not have been available at the time that the search engine spidered – there may have even been some glitch that made the spider skip your website. Your website may not even actually comply with the search engines requirements.


My website has NEVER been visible on search engines, why?

Your website might not have been registered or registered correctly – this means that it won’t be found on the search engines. But please note that some search engines take up to three months to index a website – and your website may still be in the process of been registered.


What are the ‘words’ that are found in the window title bar of the website?

The window title bar of the website is the HTML title of the website - these titles are optimized in order for better search engine rankings.


Why do I need links on my website?

Links will help your website and its popularity – and this will help your popularity on search engines. So basically, the more links you have the more popular your site will be – but these links should be relevant links in order for search engines to see them as valid.
